Nick Sackville announces candidacy for Ward 3 in Saskatoon’s civic election race
Saskatoon, SK – Ward 3-raised Nick Sackville announces he will be running for a seat on city council in the upcoming November election.
“‘I’ve been a proud resident of Ward 3 for most of my life. I’ve seen our neighbourhoods go through a lot of changes over the years – and I want to be one of those driving that change, with Ward 3’s voices at the heart of the work I do,” Sackville says.
Nick is running in Ward 3 following councillor Ann Iwanchuk’s announcement that she will not be seeking another term. He believes his work experience has made him well qualified to sit on council.
“In my work with the Saskatoon & Region Home Builder’s Association, I work with members to navigate municipal processes to get the outcomes they’re looking for. I want to do the same for Ward 3 residents,” Sackville says.
Nick’s qualifications also include time serving as the secretary and president of the Fairhaven Community Association. This work has taught him the importance of listening and learning from the community.
“As president of the community association, I learned how important it is that leaders listen, learn, and get results. I am the right candidate to do this for my neighbourhood and my neighbours.” says Sackville.
On November 9, vote for your neighbourhood and your neighbour, Nick Sackville, to be Ward 3 city councillor.
